The Muny announced today principal casting for the second show of its 94th season, Chicago (June 25 – July 1), directed and choreographed by Denis Jones.

Broadway sensations Patti Murin and Natascia Diaz star as Roxy Hart and Velma Kelly. Justin Guarini as Billy Flynn joins them. Also appearing are Jackie Hoffman as Mama Morton, Patti Cohenour as Mary Sunshine and Dean Christopher as Amos Hart.

Based on the play by the same name, Chicago features a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb. Chicago is a musical tale of "murder, greed, corruption, violence, adultery and treachery — all those things we hold near and dear to our hearts."
