For The Muny's 2012 Season -

The Muny proudly announced today that St. Louis illustrator and graphic artist, Mary Engelbreit, has designed the program cover for the 2012 season. She is known throughout the world for her distinctive illustrative style.

"I'm so honored that Mary created this marvelous illustration for our audiences," said Muny Executive Producer, Mike Isaacson. "Not only do I respect and enjoy her work, this is another example of The Muny serving as a showcase for St. Louis artists."

Ms. Engelbreit commented on her design. "I tried to capture the magic I felt as a child, and the satisfaction I felt as a parent bringing my kids here later, continuing a great St. Louis summertime tradition!"
