Back To Live
Musical theatre will return
to Forest Park this summer!
St. Louis, welcome back to your summer home. We’ve missed you.
After what will be a 23-month intermission, musical theatre is back in Forest Park! With recent updates from the CDC and the City of St. Louis, we have new guidelines on what to expect this summer. Season 103 will feature five productions and will open July 26 instead of July 5 with 100% capacity. This delayed start allows for the health landscape to continue to improve and hopefully provides comfort and certainty for theatre-goers joining us this summer. The previously-announced sanitation guidelines for The Muny’s 103rd season remain in place.
The 2021 season lineup, featuring new show order and dates, includes:
Smokey Joe’s Cafe | July 26 – August 1
The Sound of Music | August 3 – 9
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers | August 12 – 18
On Your Feet! | August 21 – 27
Chicago | August 30 – September 5
Previously announced Sweeney Todd and Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins will move into the 2022 season.
Summer nights are returning – but with a few extra health & safety precautions.
Working with City Health Director Dr. Fredrick Echols, Muny leadership and its internal COVID-19 Compliance Task Force, which includes infectious diseases experts, have developed a plan that allows for the outdoor theatre’s full capacity, among other sanitation guidelines, for attendees.
The 2021 five show package will be available June 7.
Single tickets will be available July 12.
Free seats will be available at 100% capacity on a first come, first served basis.
