“Monsanto continues to be a fantastic partner in our mission to make theatre accessible to the entire community,” said Muny President and CEO, Denny Reagan. “This generous grant allows us to continue our Community Access program and we are incredibly grateful for their support.”

“We are proud to support The Muny in its commitment to ensure all audiences, whether they face physical, mental or financial challenges, can enjoy professionally produced stage productions,” said Michelle Insco, Monsanto Fund Program Officer. “We congratulate The Muny on its 100th season and for making the theatre accessible and enjoyable for everyone.”

The Monsanto Fund, the philanthropic arm of the Monsanto Company, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the communities where farmers and Monsanto Company employees live and work.

The Muny’s Community Access program targets unserved and underserved members of the greater St. Louis community, including those with physical, emotional and mental limitations, whose members would be unable to attend on their own. By partnering with hundreds of social service organizations each season, in addition to the free seats, The Muny welcomes more than 100,000 guests to experience a Muny show for free each summer. This program supports the mission of The Muny in the purest sense that it truly provides access to all, regardless of their individual ability to attend.

Applications for The Muny’s Community Access program are now being accepted for the 2018 season. For more information, and to apply, please visit muny.org/community-access.
