2026 Muny Auditions St. Louis Resident — Equity

You must preregister for this call. Auditions are by appointment only. To request an appointment, please register by following the instructions via THIS LINK on Friday, Jan. 2, 2026, at 9 a.m. CST. Once you have filled out the form, you will be contacted directly to schedule your appointment. Virtual submissions will not be accepted in lieu of an in-person audition at this time. Deadline to register: Friday, Jan. 16, 2026, 11:59 p.m. CST or when registration is full.

Seeking strong singers and actors who dance well for The Muny’s 2026 summer season. This audition is open to Actors’ Equity Association members, ages 18+, who permanently reside within a 50-mile radius of St. Louis.

Always bring your Equity Membership card to auditions. Proof of an Equity card will be required.

All NONRESIDENTS are encouraged to attend our Equity Principal Auditions, Equity Chorus Singer Call or Equity Chorus Dancer Call. If you are not age appropriate and do not meet the local residency requirements, you will not be seen for this particular call.

The official casting notice and detailed character breakdown of available chorus roles will be shared later.

Preparation

Please prepare a 32-bar (or less than a minute) selection of a musical theatre song in a style appropriate to the season’s shows. Be prepared to sing an additional contrasting selection if requested. Bring sheet music and your repertoire book; an accompanist will be provided.

Schedule/Compensation

Performers are cast on a per-show basis. All performers are signed to an Equity MSUA contract and are eligible for full membership. Contract/salary: MSUA Contract. 2026 minimum is TBD pending AEA contractual negotiations.
