2024 Season

Artist Spotlight: Meet Tiffany Mann of ‘Dreamgirls’

For each of our seven productions this season, our Artist Spotlight feature will highlight one Muny star for you to get to know a little better. Before and during the run of each show, we're sharing photos, videos, interviews and other exclusive content to better build the connection between our audience and the performers who grace our stage.

This week, we're excited to introduce you to Tiffany Mann, who stars as Effie Melody White in our production of Dreamgirls, which runs June 27-July 3. Muny audiences last saw her in our 2021 production of Smokey Joe's Cafe.

"What I love is the sense of camaraderie," Tiffany says. "There’s a phrase that keeps going around — Muny magic. When you first hear it, you’re like, what does that mean? And then you come and experience it, and that’s a pretty appropriate phrase."

Tiffany's Broadway credits include Be More Chill and Waitress. Off-Broadway, she has appeared in Jelly’s Last Jam, The Life, Jerry Springer: The Opera, Cabin in the Sky and Invisible Thread.

She says the rehearsal process for Dreamgirls has been amazing.

"We’re learning so much Muny-style," Tiffany says. "Everyone in the creative team and the cast is having a great time just drilling this thing and making sure we give the Muny audience something fun to see."

We can't wait for you to see what Tiffany and the rest of the Dreamgirls cast and production team have been working on! Don't miss the return of this smash-hit Broadway musical, the second show in our 106th season. In the meantime, here's a peek behind the scenes.
