Due to high attendance for this call, you MUST pre-register. We reserve the right to close attendance based on registration numbers. Walk-ups will not be seen. Virtual submissions will not be accepted in lieu of an in-person audition at this time.

Auditions are by appointment times only. To request an appointment, please register by following the instructions at the link below on Wednesday, Jan. 3, and you will be assigned a group time.

Seeking strong dancers who sing well for The Muny’s 2024 summer season. This audition is open to Equity, EMC and Non-Union performers, ages 18+.

The official casting notice and detailed character breakdown of available chorus roles will be shared at a later date.

Preparation

Come warmed up and dressed to dance. Dancers should bring character heels, jazz, tap and ballet shoes, as well as kneepads. You may be asked to demonstrate acrobatic skills or tricks if you have them available to you. Dancers will be asked to sing. Please prepare 16-bar cuts of two selections (up-tempo and ballad) in styles appropriate to the shows. Bring sheet music and your book; an accompanist will be provided.

Schedule/Compensation

Performers are cast on a per-show basis. All performers are signed to an Equity MSUA contract and are eligible for full membership. Contract/salary: MSUA Contract. 2024 minimum is $1,262 per week.
