ST. LOUIS — Thirty-two interns will take on important roles across all Muny departments this summer, gaining hands-on professional experience with the team that brings St. Louis’ Tony Award-winning outdoor theatre to life.
This year’s interns represent 25 universities from 12 states — plus Washington, D.C., and the United Kingdom.
“Our interns are an integral and vital part of creating the Muny season,” said Muny Director of Education Tali Allen. “I continue to be amazed and impressed by the impact of the program and the energy these students bring to our campus each summer.”
The competitive Muny internship program is open to rising college sophomores, juniors and seniors, as well as seniors who are about to graduate, who are pursuing a career in theatre. Producing and directing positions are made available to MFA graduate students.
“We are delighted to welcome this year’s class of Muny interns, including 10 students returning from last season,” said Charlie Mueller, Muny education programs manager. “We selected these talented individuals from a record number of applicants, all eager to make connections and take part in the learning opportunity of a lifetime.”
