Meet the Members of the 2026 Muny Teens Performance Troupe

A congratulatory graphic for the 2026 Muny Teens features a grid of 24 smiling teen headshots with names underneath each. The Muny Teens and The Muny Education logos appear, and congratulatory text is centered at the top.

The young artists perform in Muny productions, as part of the Preshow Festival and throughout the St. Louis region.

ST. LOUIS — The Muny has selected 26 standout young performers to join its 2026 Muny Teens troupe following a highly competitive audition process.

In addition to receiving professional theatre training, the students function as year-round Muny ambassadors, reflecting the diverse community served by The Muny. Members of the troupe perform in Muny mainstage productions, as part of the nightly Preshow Festival and throughout the St. Louis region.

The Muny Teens, who range in age from 14 to 18 and live within a 50-mile radius of St. Louis, are chosen annually through auditions that take place in January and February.

“This year’s Muny Teens troupe is an inspiring group of young artists whose talent, curiosity and commitment to growth truly stand out,” said Muny Director of Education Tali Allen. “We’re proud to support them as they develop their craft and share their energy with our audiences and our community.”

The Muny Kids and Muny Teens are a tour de force of young artists. Participants are trained in voice, dance, stage presence, craft, dedication and discipline.

The programs were founded in 1994 and have produced many stars on and off the stage. Graduates attribute several tangible life skills to their participation.

The Muny Kids and Muny Teens are the flagship programs of the Crawford Taylor Education Initiative. Established in 2019, the Crawford Taylor Education Initiative aids in the development of new arts education opportunities while improving current Muny education programs under a single, cohesive framework. This initiative strives to provide unprecedented, hands-on instruction and mentoring to youth performers hoping to pursue a career on or offstage in musical theatre.

The 25 participants in the 2026 Muny Kids troupe were announced in March.
