Crawford Taylor Education Initiative Our Education Programs

The skills and discipline that students learn in Muny education programs will serve them in whatever career they pursue. Generous support from the Crawford Taylor Foundation has enabled us to develop and improve education opportunities under a single cohesive framework.

Muny Kids + Teens

The Muny’s acclaimed flagship education program, these performing troupes serve as goodwill ambassadors across St. Louis and the surrounding region.

Muny in Schools

This program offers a mini-bootcamp introduction to The Muny, audition workshops and show consultation for high school theatre productions.

Education Classes

Students can further their training through engagement with theatre professionals in offerings like our Audition Workshop, BFA Bootcamp, Musical Theatre Dance classes and more.

Technical Theatre Training (T3)

This program provides training and mentorship to high school students in the technical theatre industry, helping to create a clear path for success in these fields after high school.

The Muny Summer Intensive

Our three-week summer program invites rising high school juniors and seniors to experience the exceptional training and performance opportunities of our Muny Teens program.

We offer dozens of summer internships across our administration and production departments as we create a season of seven full-scale musical theatre productions.

About the Crawford Taylor Education Initiative

Established in 2019, the Crawford Taylor Education Initiative aids in the development of new arts education opportunities while improving current Muny education programs under a single, cohesive framework. This initiative strives to provide unprecedented, hands-on instruction and mentoring to youth performers hoping to pursue a career on or offstage in musical theatre.
