Steward Family Plaza

Steward Family Plaza, located on the eastern edge of our campus, is bustling with activity before showtime at The Muny. This exciting, vibrant green space is where you'll find our East Lawn Stage, which features live entertainment as part of our nightly Preshow Festival. Gather at one of our shaded picnic tables, or spread a blanket on the lawn.

At the heart of Steward Family Plaza is our brick plaza, which is home to nearly 2,000 engraved bricks bearing the names of Muny friends, family members and loved ones. Contributions for these bricks help The Muny continue to produce world-class musical theatre, provide community engagement and fund our education programs.

The Steward Family Foundation pledged a $5 million gift to our Second Century Campaign, launched in 2018 to make significant capital upgrades to our 11-acre campus and to fund our endowment. A Donor Plaza on Steward Family Plaza recognizes Second Century Campaign gifts over $10,000 and over $1 million.

Steward Family Plaza is adjacent to the Culver Pavilion, Café One and our Muny Merch stand.
